The discipline is Origami, a developed system in this house, not a metaphor invented for this page. One spec, many renderers. Every fold carries a layer (skim, detail, source) and a direction (down, out, across, up, in), and a fold never cuts the sheet, so figures can omit but cannot contradict. The same discipline runs the house's own decision records (Decide), its reading instrument (Parchment and its Lens), and its document fold primitive (Lexical Fold).
